During our grocery distributions, we often invite community organizations to share about their services including job training, employment initiatives, and housing.
In addition to offering connections to social services, we occasionally partner with dentists and nursing students to offer blood pressure, diabetes, and dental clinics.
Please contact us if your social service agency would like to have a booth (either for one or several of our grocery distributions).
The Richmond Food Bank also offers outreach tables at community events. From BBQs to fun runs, events for homeless individuals to back to school celebrations, we are eager to make sure that we are rooted within our community, and that awareness and support for our services is as high as possible.
If you are interested in the food bank having an outreach tables at your event, please email us at info@rfbs.org to arrange this. Please provide at least two weeks notice, so that we can make sure that we can find sufficient staff or volunteers.
Office Closed
Our office will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be no distribution at the Daniels Road Depot.
