March is Nutrition Month, and this month’s theme is “Simply Cook and Enjoy.” The Nutrition Month Website has recipes, healthy eating tips, and information packages to help you and your family enjoy healthy and nutritious food.
The Richmond Food Bank emphasizes healthy and nutritious food selections. We encourage healthy food choices in our Grocery Distribution with our Nutritious Recipe Demonstration and provide a nutritious meal at our Ageless Volunteerism program. We ask for healthy and safe food choices and use donated funds to purchase the food we need to make nutritionally-balanced grocery parcels.
